Setup instructions are hot garbage. The "video" qr code has exceeded the monthly limit...$500 and don't pay their bills.

One would expect better instructions and videos for such a high price tag.

Thank you for your feedback, JTee. We're sorry to hear that your setup experience was frustrating.

The QR code should direct customers to our website assembly page, where you can select your specific goal size and access the appropriate setup resources. We've also provided a direct link next to the QR code (opengoaaalusa.com/buildLAX) for the Lacrosse Goal assembly guide.

We'd also like to clarify that the images included in the guide are intended as a visual reference to help speed up the build process. They are not the actual assembly instructions, as there are important details and steps contained within the written instructions that are not shown in the images alone.

That said, we understand your expectations for a premium product and would appreciate learning more about which parts of the setup process were unclear or difficult to follow. If you still need assistance, please contact us at wecare@opengoaaalusa.com and our team will be happy to help. We want to make sure you're completely satisfied with your purchase and enjoying your Open Goaaal as intended.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Directions are horrible. It takes longer than the 30 minutes noted on the box. None of the QR video codes provided in the manual work. I give it three stars as the net seems decent but it is not flush to the ground and the goal outline is not fully square. I should have kept my old lacrosse net and put up a large net behind it. Way less expensive and not as frustrating. Save your money. I would return it if I could.

Thanks for the honest feedback, James. We’re really sorry to hear how frustrating the setup experience was, especially with the QR codes not working. That’s not the experience we want for you at all.

From what you described with the net not sitting flush and the frame not looking square, it sounds like something may be off in the setup or tensioning. We’d be more than happy to help you get it dialed in so it performs the way it’s designed to.

If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at wecare@opengoaaalusa.com with a couple photos of your setup. Our team can walk you through quick adjustments or provide updated instructions so everything sits correctly and feels solid.

We really appreciate you giving it a try and would love the chance to turn this around for you.

Wish we had it a long time ago.

We live in the Baltimore area and there are a lot of places to shoot/play LAX but to be able to shoot full speed/strength in the convenience of the backyard is a game changer! Actually not that bad to set up(by yourself), it has good coverage and definitely can absorb a full speed shot (eldest son is 5’11” 175 and shoots in the mid to high 80’s). I will say though, shipping took longer than expected but it has been worth the wait.

Hi Michael,

We love hearing this — thank you for sharing such a great review! It’s awesome to know your family is getting full-speed lacrosse practice right in your backyard. That’s exactly why we designed the Open Goaaal® 2-in-1 Lacrosse Goal with Backstop — so players can shoot at full power without worrying about lost balls, broken fences, or unhappy neighbors.

We really appreciate your patience with shipping and are so glad to hear it was worth the wait! Knowing it’s holding up to 80+ mph shots is the best kind of feedback we could ask for.

Here’s to more backyard reps, stronger shots, and no more ball hunts. 🙌

Zero regrets. Real happy.

Ripping corners every night and early every morning. I was unsure what to get or if this would meet the durability demands. This thing is robust and easy to set.

I am surprised how much I like having the net and backstop all in one. Just a smaller profile on the lawn. But no richochets off hard pipes. This net is awesome. I have no intent of using it as daily portable net. I am just using it in a single location but so far I'm real happy after 8 days straight of use every morning and night.

Hi Nathan! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying our 2-in-1 Lacrosse Goal with Backstop and that it has met your durability demands. We designed it to be robust and easy to set up, so it's great to know that you have found it to be just that. We completely understand the convenience of having the net and backstop all in one, and we're glad it's working out well for you. Thank you for choosing our product and for your continued support. Happy corner ripping!

Great Goal and easy to setup

Such an awesome goal, we looked for a while at different products, but this one fits all needs in one quality product.

We had a lacrosse goal and suffered issues as you hit the cross bar, in a tight yard, everyone knows the outcome. So this gives you full confidence and the shoot as hard as you wish without any possible errant bounce backs due to cross bars!

We would recommend to anyone to get, easy to setup, and tear down is easy! Now it’s drill time!! Enjoy!

Thank you for your positive feedback on our 2-in-1 Lacrosse Goal with Backstop, Darren! We're thrilled to hear that it met all of your needs and provided a solution for the issue of errant bounce backs. We hope you continue to enjoy using it for your drills, and thank you for recommending it to others. Happy practicing!

Great lax trainer

The product is excellent and provides a wonderful backyard, backstop and goal. We recently hosted my son‘s youth lacrosse team over and they spent hours shooting on it! It was fairly easy to set up and mow grass around.

I concur with other reviews that there needs to be more anchor points on the bottom of the net as low shots can squirt underneath and then ricochet high behind the back stop. I will be buying tent stakes to remedy this.

Hi Erick! Thank you so much for your feedback on our 2-in-1 Lacrosse Goal with Backstop. We are thrilled to hear that it has been a great lax trainer for your son and his team. We appreciate your suggestion about adding more anchor points and will definitely take that into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for choosing our product and happy shooting!

High and hard shots...

My two high school age boys are enjoying the new Lacrosse 2-in-1 Trainer. Fairly straight forward instructions for assembly and good supplemental pictures and material online. Appears to have been engineered to be very durable under hard shots/usage. Looking forward to see how it is doing after this year of lacrosse. I will write a follow-up review in the fall.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase for my kids. Not that difficult to install, excellent quality, and it makes playing Lacrosse so much more fun because you don’t have to chase balls. The ability to easily lift and mow around is a huge bonus!!!! We are looking forward to many years of practicing in our yard with the Open Goaaal!!!!

Great option to stop losing balls in the woods.

Setup wasn't too complicated it fits great where we wanted it. The only knock is that the bottom of the net wasn't as tight as I wanted to the ground. But a couple of extra tent stakes that I had floating around fixed that.

Bought to catch pucks and not LaX balls. Works great! Kids love not having to go look for pucks in the woods and neighbors yard anymore.

Not as expected

Goal was decent material, instructions pretty clear. Design was poor and unable to keep net upright even with support posts and stakes.

Maybe good for others, not right for us!

Lacrosse Trainer

Very pleased with my Open Goaaal Lacrosse trainer. I had issues with my son hitting the house and neighbor's property when missing the goal. This net allows enough room to cover a large area. The material is very good and the instructions were easy to follow. Even included a solid hammer to hammer in the anchors and a tape measure to measure the distance of the anchors and supporting spikes. They really thought of everything.

Great LAX training net

The net was delivered in a timely manor as promised. Quick review of the instructions with the QR code instruction's were easy to follow. My 13 year old son helped & had him reading the assembly directions to learn. Great investment, my neighbors son is 5 and he is practicing with my son as well.
